Raleigh Studio Newborn Session with Older Sibling :: Simple Studio Newborn Photos

When I moved into my home in summer of 2021, I opened my in-home studio. I had visions of an all white space with simple posing & natural-toned props. I wanted to get back to the essence of newborn photography that just celebrates the new life without all the fuss. So, with this new venture, I needed models. My friend shared my post and had a colleague that had just had a baby. They agreed to the model call & we took some amazing photos of their son. Fast forward two years and they reach out again. Mom said that when she had the photos taken before, she really wasn’t thinking about newborn photos and had no vision as to what she wanted. But, once she saw the images, she was immediately in love with the style and experience. They wanted to have the same kind of session they had before, which is pretty easy considering I still shoot in all white. This is one of the main reasons I do it. It is classic and timeless. And, now they can add these images to the ones they had before and they will look cohesive. It is such an honor not only to document this time in my client’s lives, but to have repeat clients is the best compliment.
