I know the moms out there will understand when I say that moms are usually behind the camera and our existence isn’t documented. We will prioritize sessions of our kids for milestones or their birthdays, but never ourselves as mothers. Motherhood is so beautiful and worth celebrating. You don’t have to wait until yearly family photos for Christmas cards, or your maternity or newborn sessions to hop in some of these portraits. Some moms haven’t had photos taken of them since their wedding day. I love a maxi dress for mothers because it is so flattering on all body size and shapes.
