Traditional Children’s Fine Art Portrait

New for 2026!

I have had so many families come in with their young children for heirloom portraits this past year, and I am so grateful! I am expanding my heirloom side of the business to include fine art portraits. These portraits are taken in front of a neutral backdrop, with soft lighting, and the same beautiful hand-editing that my heirlooms are known for. These fine art children’s portraits are perfect for older children and are intended to be printed and framed to hang in the home for generations to come.

Vignetted Option

In addition, you can choose to have your fine art image edited in the vignetted heirloom style as well. These differ from my classic heirlooms in that they are on a neutral backdrop so the vignette will be a warm beige.

Painterly Portraits

For the families who grew up with an oil pastel portrait hanging in the dining room, this option is for you. The newest option for your fine art portrait is to have your portrait hand-edited in such a way that the pixels look painted. The image is then printed on fine art matte canvas and finished with gel brushstrokes to add to the realism of the image. This product combines the realism of a photograph with the beauty, style, and feel of a freehand painting.
