Flowers Clayton Lifestyle In Home Newborn Session :: Flowers Plantation Newborn Session

I met this momma a few months ago when she came to the studio for a mini maternity session. It was so nice to catch back up with them and meet their new daughter, Scarlett. As with most lifestyle newborn sessions, we began our session in the master bedroom to get some family shots. I always try to get some of baby with each parent as well. If the baby is pretty calm, they can stay unsaddled, but a swaddle is always a good addition to a lifestyle newborn session to add some variety. Not to mention, who doesn’t like to be all wrapped up and snuggled?! Scarlett was so awesome the whole time. She made a peep for a bit, but as soon as she got rocked and loved on, she was happy as a clam. My favorite thing about lifestyle newborn sessions is getting to take photos of your baby in their nursery & the house you brought them home to. It is so cool to see these spaces down the road… especially when that not so little newborn is jumping up and down in their crib a year from now.
