{lifestyle newborn photography session} : apex nc newborn photographer

I had the pleasure of hanging out with this family in Apex this weekend to document their “newborn,” Kinsley. Kinsley had to be delivered 9 weeks early due to some complications with mom. She spent a little bit of time in the NICU but is healthy & strong. Although she wouldn’t technically be considered a newborn, she was still so tiny. We managed to get a lot of awake shots of her, and finally she gave in to some swaddling and rocking (by yours truly). Believe me, I never pass up an opportunity to snuggle a baby. My go to locations for in home lifestyle newborn sessions are usually the master bedroom & the nursery. Luckily, this house had amazing light in both rooms! Parents picked great outfits for this session too. Neutrals & pastels always look nice and photography nicely when your room decor complements it. Kinsley’s nursery was decorated so adorably and her parent’s outfits coordinated perfectly. As you can see, there is a good mix of posed images for my sessions but also a lot of candid moments.
