Carter was such a precious newborn in the studio! At 16 days old, he was as sleepy and snuggly as can be. Newborns are "best" photographed between 5-21 days but you never really know what you're going to get with each one. Every baby is different! Some babies are extra fussy the younger they are, and some are extra awake the older they are. But, the best part about newborn photography is that I get to capture their sweetness before it changes all too fast. By the time a mom or dad sees their gallery (usually a 2 week turn around time), they comment about how much their newborn has changed already! I love my job. And now, here is handsome Carter at 16 days:
Newborn sessions are best done between 5-21 days so that they are nice and sleepy and can be curled into the cute poses. Amy only accepts a few newborns each month, so schedule your newborn session early in your pregnancy!
